November release will take place on 23rd November 2024. This month's release includes new functionality deployment in Logivity services web application.

What is changing?

• Additional reason codes for "Update ETA" transport status
• Auto-calculation of weight and volume when creating a shipment
• Display carrier organization name in the shipment list

Additional reason codes for "Update ETA" transport status

When reporting an ETA Update for pick-up or delivery, you can now report an impact to ETA and the reason code for the ETA change.

Pick-up ETA can be updated to (1):

• Early pick-up planned
• Late pick-up planned

And subsequent reason codes for ETA change are (2):

• Pick-up location
• Delivery location
• Cross dock
• Force majeure
• Carrier

Delivery ETA can be updated to (3)

• Late delivery planned
• Early delivery planned

With the same reason codes for ETA change (2).

Auto-calculation of weight and volume when creating a new shipment

Previously when creating a new shipment, Shipper user needed to manually enter a sum of weight and volume in the Transport Order details. It will now be possible to have these values automatically calculated based on weight and dimensions entered for individual transport unit(s). When you enter the details for a Unique Transport Unit or a Transport Unit Group, fill in the dimension details and weight (1). Gross volume and weight will then be calculated automatically (2).

Similarly, The weight and volume values will be automatically calculated for each Transport Order (3), and for the entire shipment (4).

Display carrier organization name in the shipment list

The shipment list in "Shipper view" will now also display Carrier organization to name to improve the visibility of which carrier is assigned to a particular shipment.
