Introduction

This article describes how to enable and use the Logivity Visibility service which allows real-time tracking of the shipment progress.

Prerequisites

In order to track the progress of your shipments you need to have Control and Visibility services enabled on your organization's Logivity account.

Instructions

1. Enabling the visibility service

To check if you have the Visibility service enabled on your Logivity account, please open your account administration in the vertical navigation (1) and click on "Services" tab (2). You will see section called "Logivity services". If the checkbox against "Logivity Visibility" is ticked (3) and the service is active (4), then the service is enabled on your account.

If it is not ticked, please contact Logivity support via https://support.logivity.com/hc/en-us/requests/new to get the service enabled for you.

2. Upload your vehicle data

As a part of your onboarding to visibility service you need to onboard to our partner CO3 where you will be able to choose which vehicle data you would like to share. You can also onboard your subcontractors. To initiate the onboarding process, please raise a ticket to Logivity Support via this link and we will help you with the process: https://support.logivity.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.

You will receive an invitation link and onboarding instructions from our team.

3. Connect your CO3 credentials with Logivity

Once you have completed the onboarding process, CO3 will provide you with your credentials. These credentials are a requirement to enable the Visibility service in Logivity.

Step-by-step

To connect your CO3 credentials in Logivity Services:

  1. Click on the "Settings" tab in the vertical navigation.
  2. Click "Services"
  3. Under Logivity Visibility, click on "configure Logivity Visibility"

  1. Paste your credentials in "User ID" (same as ClientId from CO3) and "Client Secret"
  2. Click "Test connection"
  3. If test connect ion was successful, save your credentials by clicking "Connect"

After successful connection, you will see that the Visibility service is active

4. Add vehicle license plate number to the booking in Connect

When visibility service is enabled, transport status reporting forms PoP and Equipment number will allow you to add a "GPS activated vehicle", and vehicle data that you have uploaded will be available in the drop-down menu. Please select the applicable vehicle id when you, for example, are reporting PoP, and the tracking will start after you have updated the status.

If you have not uploaded any vehicle data to CO3, the drop-down will be empty. To add or remove a license plate, please contact the Customer Care team at CO3, and they will support you with making the needed updates.

5. Track the progress of a shipment

Once you have added the GPS activated vehicle details, you will see a tracking icon appear on the right hand side of the shipment line next to the status (1), click on that icon to see the current shipment location on the map (2).

Once PoA is reported, the tracking will be stopped automatically.
