Release information

April release will take place on 6th April 2024. This release includes functionality enhancements in the Connect and Loadboard services.

What is changing?

1. Shipment notes - you can now add internal notes to each shipment in your shipment list to inform colleagues within your organization of any important information related to a booking you are working on. Shipment notes are available in both Connect and Loadboard.
2. Improved shipment PDF report layout - shipment PDF report layout in Connect has been improved to make it simpler and more readable for the customers.
3. Improved filtering functionality - new filtering features have been added to enhance filtering possibilities. In addition to existing filters you can now also filter by contracted / express shipments, specific address details and equipment number.

Shipment notes

In Connect and Loadboard you now have a possibility to add internal notes to each shipment. Notes, added to shipments, will only be visible to users within your organization. Please remember to avoid using any personal / sensitive information in the notes.

To add/edit a note to a shipment, click on the notebook icon on the right hand side of the shipment row in your list (1). A pop-up window will be shown (2). Click on "Edit notes" (3) and add or edit a note on a shipment (4). Once you have finished adding a note, click on "Save changes" (5).

You can also see in the shipment list when there is or isn't a note added to the shipment. When there is already a note added, the notebook colour will be green (1). You can click on the icon to see the note pop-up (2).

When there isn't a note, the icon will be gray (3). 

Improved shipment PDF report

When you export the shipment PDF report in Connect, it will have a new format. Please note that Loadboard report will remain in the old format.

Below you can see an example of the first page of the new PDF report in Connect:

The change will apply to single reports that you download via the PDF export button, as well as to multi-export, when you download PDF documents for several shipments at once. For multi-export, we introduced page numbers to enable users to see when the report for one shipment ends and the new one starts. You can see page numbers in the bottom right corner of the document:

Improved filtering

Shipment type filter

You now have options to filter based on shipment type criteria: Contracted or Express shipments:

Location filter

Improved location filter allows you to set filter values for specific parts of the address in both Connect and Loadboard services. Part of the address you filter for can be full value (i.e. full post code) or part of the value (i.e. beginning of the post code). Each field is a wildcard search and is not case sensitive. Possibility to filter by country remains available.

Equipment number filter

We have added a possibility to filter based on Equipment number. This filter option can be found under column "Carrier ref #" (1). Simply enter the equipment number you wish to filter for and click "Apply" (2). Shipments with this equipment number will be displayed in your filtered list.
