How to manage your email notifications?

Introduction

In your Logivity account you have a possibility to set email notifications on or off, depending on your preferences. Notifications can be managed on a group level and user level.

Prerequisites

Any user can manage their own notification settings. Group notification settings can be managed by Group Admins and Organization Admins.

Instructions

Group email notifications

To manage email notifications on the group level log in to your Logivity account as a Group Admin or Organization Admin. In the vertical navigation bar go to "Settings" (1) tab and select "User groups" (2) tab. Find the group you wish to modify email notification settings for and click "Edit" (3).
 


 

In "Email notifications" section you can choose whether to turn the notifications for this group on or off. You can define email notification settings for users in your group. 

Notifications for Carrier

Control

  • New shipment assigned - when your bid won / when a new contracted shipment has been assigned to you
  • Shipment cancelled

Loadboard

  • New shipment offer - when a new spot-buy shipment is sent to you
  • Shipment offer bid lost - when your bid lost in the bidding process

Time Slot

  • A new time slot booked for any shipment by the shipper
  • A time slot updated for any shipment by the shipper
  • A time slot cancelled for any shipment by the shipper

Select notifications you wish to receive by clicking applicable toggle buttons (1). Specify to which email address / addresses notifications should be sent to. If you would like to provide several email addresses, please separate them by a comma (,) sign.

Notifications for Shipper

Control

  • New shipment created by external party - a shipment was created by your supplier / external partner on your behalf
  • Shipment is picked up - shipment has been picked up by a carrier
  • Shipment has an updated ETA - ETA for pick-up or arrival has been updated by a carrier
  • Missing documents reported - a carrier has reported "Documents Missing" transport status
  • Carrier alert reported - a carrier has reported "Alert" transport status
  • Shipment arrived - your shipment has been delivered to the receiver

Loadboard

  • Bid deadline reached without auto-award - When no carrier was awarded
  • Shipment is awarded - when your spot-buy shipment has been awarded to a carrier

Select notifications you wish to receive by clicking applicable toggle buttons. Specify to which email address / addresses notifications should be sent to. If you would like to provide several email addresses, please separate them by a comma (,) sign.

 

Individual user notifications

Each user can set their email notification settings in their individual profile. To manage notifications for your user in Logivity, go to your profile "Personal details" tab. Here you will see your account details and your Group memberships.

Under each group you are a member of, you will see an "Email notifications" setting. Here you can choose to turn email notifications on or off for each of the groups.

Depending on your role, you will have the following notification options:

Carrier

Control

  • New shipment assigned - when your bid won or when a new contracted shipment has been assigned to you
  • Shipment cancelled
