Shipment list details
Shipment list is the view that you will enter as you log in to the Control service.
- As a Carrier you will find all the shipments assigned to you in this list.
- As a Shipper, you will see all the shipments created by you or your external partners in this list.
- If your organization's role is both shipper and carrier, you will have two list views to choose from in the drop down menu in the top right corner of the page.
The high level view of the shipment list provides all the information you need to get a good overview of the shipment. Here you will find:
- Shipment Creation date and ID, as well as shipper reference number (if provided by the shipper)
- Pick-up location details & opening hours (if provided by the shipper)
- Pick-up time slot - when ETA is updated, that information will be displayed here
- Delivery location details & opening hours (if provided by the shipper)
- Delivery time-slot - when ETA is updated, that information will be displayed here
- Cargo details, messages to carrier and references
- Carrier details
- Transport status. If there are any alerts for a particular shipment, they will be displayed here, and you will be using this column to Accept/Decline shipments and report during execution of the shipment.
- Additional details & option to download shipment details as a PDF file.
Shipment details
You can expand each shipment to view it's details by clicking on the arrow down next to each shipment. The details are divided into tabs: Overview, Stops, Cargo, Status messages, Attachments and Contact persons
-
Overview tab provides information about the customer and shipment creation date, carrier information, whether partial acceptance is allowed on this shipment, displays the distance for this particular shipment, transport mode, shipment type, equipment type and number, and transport order reference. You can also find the CO2 emission calculation in this section based on planned & updated vehicle details & cargo. Shipment notes can also be viewed and edited under this tab.
-
Stops tab displays the details about the pick-up and delivery location and allocated time slots. Arrows indicate whether it's a pick-up location (arrow up) or a delivery destination (arrow down). Here you can also see contact person information if that has been provided by the shipper. You can also view Transport order information in this view and if you 1) click on the transport order you will be able to 2) view the details about it and about each of the transport units.
-
Cargo tab displays almost the same information as the Stops tab, but here it's grouped by the transport orders instead.
-
Status messages tab displays all status messages that have been reported for this shipment listed in the order they have been reported. In this example the shipment has been "Created", "Accepted" and an "Alert" has been reported.
In the Logivity Web Application you can also see who has created the shipment and made a status update on the shipment. -
Attachments tab displays any attachments added to the shipment. From here you can add and download the attachments.
- In the Contact persons tab you will find information about all contacts for this shipment if they have been specified. In the example below you can see 1) contact details of a person at the pick-up location, and 2) contact details of a person at the delivery location.
Shipment list views (User Groups)
If you organization has user groups, and you are a member of more than one user group, you will see the tabs for different user group views at the top of your shipment list. Click on the relevant tab to see user group-specific shipment list view.
Users with Edit access have a possibility to assign shipments to themselves or other users within the same user group. To assign yourself or another user to a shipment, click on "Assign user" button (1) and select the user you would like to assign a shipment to (2). Click on "Assign to shipment" button.
To change or remove the assignment, click on the assigned person and select a different assignee or select "Unassigned". For express booking, assigned user settings will be copied to Control once the booking has been awarded to a carrier.
Refreshing the shipment list
If you have Control shipment list open throughout your day, to see the new shipments coming in, or to see if shipment status has been updated, you need to refresh your shipment list. Click on the "Refresh list" button at the top of your shipment list to do this.
Shipment list export
List view allows you to export shipments available to you either as individual PDF documents or as an Excel list. To export shipments, select either specific shipments in the list view or click select all checkbox at the top of the list, and download options will appear at the top of the screen.
